Evening Parade of GoldWings

Mustering begins on West Pier from 6.30pm so that bikes can be arranged in parade formation. Both spectators and riders are advised to arrive early as roads in the vicinity are closed from 7.30pm to allow for safe operation of the parade.

West Pier Car Park will be closed to allow bikes to enter safely and set up for the parade.  At 7.45pm some of the leading trikes will pull out and stop on Foreshore Road so that press photographs can be taken.  The parade then starts at 8.00pm prompt!

The illuminated GoldWings parade and fireworks display make a super attraction for Scarborough holiday-makers and residents alike. All the family will love the evening and it’s absolutely free. There are lots of good vantage points to view the show, or you can get up closer by the roadside anywhere along the route.

All we ask is that you please make a donation in one of the collection buckets to support our Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

The spectacular fireworks display will start around 9.30pm shortly after the GoldWings parade is parked back up on the West Pier.

Looking Back

The parade starts at 8.00pm prompt and heads south along Foreshore Road to the Aquarium Top Roundabout where it does an about turn and comes back along the Foreshore Road heading north through Sandside.

The route takes the bikes along the full length of both north and south bays’ promenades before turning again at the Peasholm Gap - Burniston Road Roundabout and heading  back to West Pier Car Park.  The parade lasts only about 40 minutes so don’t miss this dazzling show.

When the bikes are safely parked up on West Pier, there’s an opportunity to take photographs before the evening’s grand finale, a fabulous Firework display from the beach

It’s a fabulous night!
